At times, they’ll act out a large cast of every gender, race, and geographic origin imaginable. A dual narration is like an audio play, wherein two artists will speak their respective lines (dialogues) in the scene. Multi-cast audiobook narration has multiple voice-over artists. Lastly, a full-cast production is similar to a multi-cast with various actors performing different roles.

4What is the cost of voice-over narration for audiobooks?
Every voice-over narration project is different. As such, the cost depends on the scope of the project. I don’t have a standard chart for voice over rates and usually provide custom quotes.  Audiobooks payments are usually calculated based on Per-Finished-Hour (PFH). This means the ‘audio output duration’ is taken into consideration to determine the payment rather than the ‘number of physical hours’ spent recording and editing. On average, it takes an experienced audiobook narrator between 2-3 hours to create 1 hour of recorded audio. My PFH fee for audiobooks generally starts at ₹20,000 and depends on the scope and complexity of the project.
